"strip of land covered with sand, shingle, or small stones at the edge of a body of water"
The prints in this series form the beginnings of a conversation and collaboration with UK based artist and printmaker Stewart Taylor. I'm a fan of his "Tree Portraits' which are a series of abstract monoprint portraits of pollarded Lime & Plane trees in London.
The beach is perhaps also a metaphor for the overlapping space between each of our crafts which are often thought of a separate. I'm looking forward to exploring these blurred lines and intrigued where this may go, watch this space!
